Decal S.p.A.

DECAL S.p.A. (Italia) was founded in 1961 by Pietro Triboldi.

In 1966 the Company’s first marine Terminal for the storage of oil and petrochemical products was set up in Porto Marghera (Venice).  The capacity of the Terminal increased to 270,000 m³ and DECAL became the industry’s leader in the Italian market, providing storage services to many oil and chemical companies.

In 1990 the DECAL Group started spreading in Europe, building in Spain - where it currently ranks second in terms of market share - the new Terminals of Barcelona and Huelva.  Koalagas, a joint-venture, was established with Primagaz (SHV Group), for the construction of a LPG Terminal in Barcelona.

Meanwhile in Italy, DECAL S.p.A.  took over Società Internazionale Lubrificanti specialized in lubricants drum filling, blending and shipping services, thus widening the range of services provided. 

Thanks to its ever growing  experience Decal continued to evaluate new business opportunities and  expanded overseas, first in Panama, building a bunkering services Terminal on Taboguilla Island, and then in Brasil (Port of Suape), with  an oil and alcohol Terminal.

After this Decal continued its growth in Russia building a new Terminal on the river Don, in the Rostov Region.

Following its mission DECAL continues its expansion both in the existing Terminals (adding capacity or new services) and always looking for new business opportunities.
